We are launching another edition of the BWCLP beginning in February!  February 12, 19, and 26, we will be emailing out zoom classes that will cover three different topics.  Week one will cover the ins and outs of metabolism and metabolic disorder.  Weeks 2 and 3 will cover our famous 1/3 Diet and our re-designed M.E.D. workout program.

Who is the BWCLP for?

In a word, everyone! A study published in the Journal “Metabolic Syndromes and Related Disorders,” examined over 8000 patients during a 7 year period and found that only 12% of adults were metabolically healthy.

Metabolic health is central to overall health and well being.  Metabolic disorders increase your risk of stroke, heart disease, diabetes, and many different cancers.  While metabolic health is incredibly important, traditional healthcare does little, if anything, to address it.

What Will We Cover?

The BWCLP is designed to comprehensively cover how your metabolism actually functions, how food choices affect it, and how to get the most out of exercise without having to workout non stop.

The 1/3 diet is not meant to be an “eating plan” that you blindly follow for a period of time.  Rather, it is designed to give you a template that teaches you how to make responsible food choices for a lifetime.

The M.E.D. workout program stands for Minimum Effective Dose.  Too many people think it is necessary to workout for hours on end each week.  For many, this leads to overexercising which can harm metabolism, or it is perceived as too high of a barrier for entry into exercise and keeps us on the couch.  The truth about exercise is that less is more.  Each workout should have a distinct purpose to either improve aerobic fitness and VO2 max, or to increase physical strength (not just “burn” calories).
