July Patient of the Month

What is your name?

Jason and Nancy L.

How long have you been coming to our office? How did you hear about us?

Nancy’s answer: I believe it’s been almost one year.

Jason: 4 years

We heard about Be Well from a friend who is also a patient.

What was your quality of life like before seeking chiropractic care?

Nancy: I wasn’t doing a lot of activities that I enjoyed.  My neck pain was 8/10 on a normal basis. It was painful to walk my dogs, do my normal workouts at the gym, and bike ride.

Jason: My back would go out from time to time but then it started to happen more frequently  and I wasn’t able to day to day activities like lifting heavy objects, working out, or stay in one position for very long.  Sitting in the car even for short periods, was painful.

Both of us have careers that require sitting at a computer for an extended amount of time which only made the pain worse.

What solutions did you try before coming in?

Nancy: I was taking ibuprofen on a daily basis which led to other issues of stomach upset.

Jason: I went to my physician who prescribed pain killers and physical therapy which worked for a short period but did not resolve my issue long term.  After a few months, the issues would reoccur.

How has chiropractic care helped your health and changed your quality of life?

Nancy: On a normal day, I have no pain.  I typically walk my dogs twice per day, I can do resistance training again without pain.

Jason: I no longer have pain. I am able to work out and do my normal activities of daily life.

We are both doing a spin class together that neither of us would have been able to do prior to our chiropractic care. We both have less pain and stiffness with sitting for the majority of our work day.

What do you love the most about Be Well, Dr. Anna, and the staff?

Atlas, of course!!  And aside from Atlas, Dr. Anna and Kirsten are warm and caring people. Dr. Anna remembers everything about her patients and takes the time to get to know them. Kirsten is also very personable.
